Some companies such as HubSpot or Google have developed techniques that allow small teams to create, test and deploy a continuous stream of releases. These companies are able to harness highly distributed Agile teams and scale to very large projects, while avoiding the tyranny of long meetings, conference calls, detailed estimates and sticky notes.
This presentation by Andy Singleton reviews what these leaders have in common and some of the key techniques they have developed, including managing through code contributions (instead of people), test layering, feature “unveils,” and continuous product management. He will also describe the Matrix of Services (MAXOS) project architecture, a “secret weapon” that advanced companies are using to destroy their competitors, and contrast it with SAFe and other frameworks for scaling Agile.
